The Ventura County Rugby Club (VCRC) was formed in 2009 by residents who were looking to promote athletic competition and increase awareness for the exciting game of rugby. Many of the founding players are alumni of local high schools and universities and have a vested interest in the community.
We want players of all ability levels to come out and become members of the Outlaws Rugby Club. We encourage personal growth and responsibility from all of our members. We strive to be the best on and
off the field. Our goal is to be champions while on the pitch and upstanding citizens when in the community. VCRC is a non-profit 501(c)(c3) organization that promotes athletic competition as well as civic pride. We strive to represent ourselves and our community with the utmost respect. Our Club is proud to be partnered with Lady Outlaws, Orca Youth Rugby and California Lutheran University to help promote rugby across age and gender lines.

We play against teams from all over Southern California between San Luis Obispo County to San Diego County and all the way east to Las Vegas. Many of our club members are alumni of winning college and men’s programs throughout Southern California and we bring that winning tradition to Outlaw Rugby.

The ultimate goal of our club is to become a dominant force in Southern California Rugby. Winning matches is only one component of Ventura County Rugby. Off the pitch we look to build positive relationships with local businesses and community organizations. We aspire to be a positive force in the community and spread the love of rugby throughout the County.
